My so called friends

We get friends because we need them. We need them because our puzzle cannot be completed without them. According to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, we need love and belongingness that's why we need friends aside from our family and loved ones.

My so called friends? Actually, they are my company, the one who shares belongingness, someone you can trust, and someone you can lean on. I call them friends because I can laugh with them, cry with them, and share with them my heartaches. These are my so called friends.

What's with my name?

They call me Geod. They call me Wang Li. But whatever names they use to call me, it doesn't matter. What matters most is that they respect me and my real name. Now, have you ever wonder what's really with my name? Well, let me help you escape from your cave of ignorance. But before that, I will formally introduce first myself. I am Geodeline A. Rasonabe. This is my real name by the way. Geodeline originated from my mother and father's name. It's a combination of their names actually. I consider this name as a mirror of my persona. Why? As you can see my name shows uniqueness especially its spelling. In the oxford dictionary, "geode" which is pronouced as "jee-ohd" means a rock containing cavity lined with crystals or mineral matter. This is also similar to the meaning of my "geode". It's like a rock with strong quality. If you throw it, it is still be the same rock that you throw, it is not fragile, and can't be destroyed easily. Same with my persona, even if you try to hurt me, ignore me, deteriorate me, still I would remain as your friend and would still be the same person that you've known from the start.

There are some people who are having hard time in pronouncing and spelling out my name. Although there are some complications with my name, I'm sure that you would still appreciate the way how my name was being constructed. It's kinda complicated but if you try to understand it deeply and examine every letter and syllable, you will find out that it is really a nice name, understandable, and meaningful. That's why I love my name and I'm proud of it because there are crystals of meaning behind every letter and syllable of name that everyone should treasure.
