Why I chose Nursing?

I have been into the world of confusions where in I need to decide for myself.

During my high school years, I traveled the voyage
of my life, blindfolded. I walk without knowing my direction. There was a time that I attempted to ask myself on what to do with my future. Since I am kinda venturesome person, I decided to took the risk in facing my fears. What are my fears? My fears include facing the crowd, seeing a dead person and seeing a person with blood. My first reason of choosing Nursing as my course is to getaway of my fears. I have realized that in Nursing I can conquer my fears. I also believed that the totality of my being will become stronger if I chose Nursing. In addition to this, I want also to prove to everyone that Nursing is not just nursing. It deals with life and so it touches others life. It is not an easy profession because it needs total care with patient, understanding, and compassion. If you don't have compassion you will not become an effective nurse.

When I already enroll in Nursing, my realization in life becomes deeper. I have realized that my real passion is to help other people. I develop a compassionate heart and I become sensitive and responsive to the needs and aspirations of others. These things contribute also to the continuity of my enrolled course.
